Rinmangymnasiet 3 consists of seven smaller units, each with its own profile based on student needs. The units cater to students with various challenges and needs for individual adjustments. The ERC unit offers special educational activities for students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) conditions, where we provide IMA and the Social Studies program.

Job Responsibilities

You work in a promoting and preventive capacity with our students. In the classroom, you support teachers with student assistance in a supervisory role. Together with the work team, you provide conversational support to students, as well as motivation and support both in groups and with individuals. You act as a mentor, holding regular development meetings, continuously checking in, and following up on the student's academic situation with guardians as well as external and internal agencies.

All of this takes place in close collaboration with the unit's work team, which includes special educators, supervisors, and teachers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a degree in social work or behavioral science, or equivalent. We want you to have experience working with young people at the middle or upper secondary school level who need special support. You are accustomed to using various documentation programs and IT support in your work. Clear communication is a central part of our operations, so it is important that you have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. You also need to have a B-driver's license. Merit points will be given if you have training in counseling methods for support conversations according to MI (Motivational Interviewing) or similar.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are skilled at interacting with students in different environments and see the individual needs of each person. Even in stressful situations, you maintain your calm. As a person, you are confident in yourself, dare to take initiative, and remain steady even in challenging situations, while meeting others with warmth. Before employment, you must present a current police certificate.
